About Abstract Designs Abstract Designs is another product of Jacob Steele (Tree). It was going to be master-me's, ZeRoRaVeN's, and my web development site. However, mehm didn't like the name because he crymoars. That's when Another Style happened, and this domain was left to rot for a couple days before I decided I wanted to use it for my personal site. It has since become an attachment of myself; just another one that I spend a lot of time ignoring~ AD was opened, uh, *whoises*, February 2007! It's gone through quite a few layouts (for a site I moderately neglected). It is currently on it's fourth layout, and since I don't have a stable internet connection, I reckon it'll wear this one for a while... Here is a quick recap of the previous layouts. Please keep in mind that these are only the images I made of the layout and they are missing portions that I built in with code. Use your imaginations/memories. Version 1 
This layout was themed after the image I had on the index before I made the first layout which looked like caution tape and said "Coming Soon". It inspired me to make the first layout look like a "work in progress". Remaining true to the first impression, Version 1 was a constant work in progress. WordPress was still being used, and it caused so many issues with the layout that I thought I was going to lose my mind. Also, the banner switched to GroundCross. Most visitors appreciated the banner you see more than GroundCross, which, well, whatever.Version 2 
Version 2 took place after I started playing Pokemon Diamond back when it was first released. Treecko, Tree, Gecko, Tree, do the math. I've always been obsessed with Treecko, and it's kept my partial love of Pokemon alive. This layout kicked ass, but it also had a couple problems with WordPress. Not as many as the first layout, surprisingly, because this one was a LOT more complex in the code. My sister helped me code a better working version (she is a WordPress guru). This layout was, sadly, lost during the Great Accidental Domain Purge of 2007. The left half of the banner was done by mehm.Version 3 
This version was designed primarily by mehm. However, it was a bit ostentatious. I toned it down and made it suck by removing the decorative background he had made, and making the banner all retarded and Rockman-themed. Sorry for bastardizing your layout, mehm~ |
